Is therapy right for me?

Therapy can be a space to feel seen, supported, and less alone with what you're carrying. If life feels heavy or you're craving change, connection, or clarity, it might be a good fit. What matters most is finding someone who listens and holds space without judgment.

Care Questions

  • Yes, what you share in therapy is private & protected by law. There are a few exceptions, such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse, or a court order. We’ll go over these limits together during your first session.

  • Currently we don’t have prescribers on staff. However, we’re happy to refer you to trusted providers for medication management and can coordinate care as part of your treatment team if that’s helpful.

  • PSYPACT allows licensed psychologists to provide telehealth across participating states. This mean you can travel to other PSYPACT states and we can still meet. See services for more info.

  • No, we currently only work with adults.

Pricing Questions

  • We are in-network with the following:

    • Aetna PPO

    • Aetna Student Health

    • BCBS PPO

    • Blue Choice Plans

    • Northwestern University Student Health Insurance*

We also cannot work with clients who have Medicaid or Medicare.

  • A deductible is the amount you have to pay out-of-pocket for covered health services before your insurance starts to pay. For example, if your deductible is $1,500, you’ll need to pay that full amount yourself before your insurance begins covering sessions (often at a percentage).

  • Yes. We believe cost shouldn’t be a barrier to care. If you're underinsured or experiencing financial hardship, reach out to ask about sliding scale or pro bono options.

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, arrive more than 15 minutes late, or no-show for your appointment, a $100 cancellation his fee may be charged.
